Why should we catch a bus when a taxi is cheaper?

the taxi costs £3.80
is this why people arent using buses as much?

Its to do with socialising. We need to people watch and we cant do that if we are on a 1 to 1 with a taxi driver now can we?

Wow, here in Los Angeles, CA, you can ride the bus all day, any bus, anywhere, as many as you need, for US$3.00. A taxi from the airport 15 miles to Downtown can run you almost US$30.00.ten times that.and you sure can't fit eleven bodies in a taxi to make it less than $3 each!
in the US generally buses are cheaper than taxis. Taking the bus uses fewer vehicles poluting the air and using fuel.
Try getting a taxi in LA. Or a bus that goes even remotely where you want to go. Good luck!

not tru in the U.S..here a bus is normally $1.00..but a cab is $2 the 1st mile and $5 every extra mile..
