There are a lot of theories over what car was used for this, the sound of a Ferrari was dubbed over later, with a bit too much tyre squeal I think, others who have studied the film claim it was various other vehicles, at some stages you can see the car reflected in shop windows and it's not a Ferrari, but with the Internet streaming version the quality isn't there to do that, still whoever was driving was mad to go through red lights at speed without lifting the throttle.
It's definitely not a motorbike though, the headlights reflected in the shop windows are too wide apart to be any twin headlight motorcycle, plus he mounts the kerb at one point to get past a garbage truck, something that you couldn't replicate on a bike.

The car is a Ferrari 275 GTB (it tells you on the cover).
It is a "cult film"-I have a copy.
