At the beginning of the week, people go, hey, I'll ride to work on a bike this week, or take the bus! And they do it for one day, and then just go, f**k it, and get back in the car. Until next Monday. Also, some CEO types only work Tue-Thur.

beacuse a lot of people who work part time usually take monday and friday off so on Tuesday evey man and his dog are driving to work.

Well after wagging work on a Monday people probably feel a little guilty and go back on the Tuesday.
From a management point of view if you ever take a Monday off those that run the joint have probably stuffed it up so bad that you HAVE to go back to fix it all on the Tuesday.

I'm a courier. Never ever thought of Tuesday as the worst day. Friday is the killer! Everyone wanting to rush home for the weekend really clogs up the roads.You try getting out of London between the times of 1500-1800. M25 is a car park, as are the M5, M4, M3, M1, M40., just a piggin' nightmare!
