How long does a UK provisional driving licence last?
Answers:
Until you have passed you test, BUT if you have passed then:
"Once you have passed your driving test (theory and practical) you should exchange your test pass certificate for a new licence as soon as possible. If you do not claim your test pass within 2 years of the date of your test, the entitlement conveyed by the test pass will be lost and you will have to pass a further driving test (theory and practical) for that category of vehicle if you wish to have it included on your driving licence."
Until your 70th birthday
Indefinitely I think. Or until you're 70
i think it lasts till you get a full on, if there is a date it stops working it will be on the licence somewhere.
untill you have past your driving test
Until you have passed your driving test and recieved your real driving license
Its 10 years or until you pass your test. Then you have two years to upgrade to a full license or retake the driving test.
If you are almost at 10 years with a provisional perhaps you should think about not driving.
hiya if u contact dvla they will have all the infomation that you require www.dvla.gov.uk or check your driving licence
The provisional licence only lasts 2 years. If you haven't past your theory and practical tests, and got a full licence within that time, you have got to re-apply.
