Is it ture a person has five days in which to tax his car after the old one runs out?
Answers:
no but you can do it instantly online..i did last week and it took 4 days to arrive, but it was taxed from the moment you pay the fee.you will need a debit card for that.
no
many years ago there used to be 15 days of grace to renew your tax, no longer applies
No. Run, they're crushing your car!
At one time you were given 2 weeks grace to tax your car. As there are over 1 million untaxed cars you would think that people are given a lifetime grace from taxing them. By law though, there is no grace period unless you've just bought a new car.
no you have no days in between tax at all, you can tax your car on line on the dvla website if you cannot get to a post office to tax it and they will post your tax disc out to you
Nope and why should we be given this, those of us that work hard, pay hard and in turn play hard so no.
the police would give you few days grace but legally you should tax it before the run out date.you can do this 14 days before .
No. You can buy your tax before the old one runs out but you can't let it wait, be like the rest of us do it on time.
In some states, Oklahoma for example, you won't have to pay the penalty if you pay within 30 days of the expiration, but.once it is expired, there is no grace period. The day it runs out, if not renewed, you are driving without tags and you are subject to being towed.
dont be stupid
There is no longer any days of grace to get your car re-licenced. Unless you have a really good excuse, chances are you would be fined.
