Is it possible to identify how many cars of a particular model are still registered through the DVLA?

Answers:
What you are referring to is known as the "parc" - the number and type of vehicles in use in the country at any time.

This data is available, through the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), but at a considerable cost.

See http://www.smmt.co.uk/dataservices/mdava. for details.
what?
Yea thats if theyll give u the information..

I guess itll be like a big spread sheet where u have cloums with headings like "reg , make, model, owner" etc or maybe its like the access where evreythns stored in cards on a pc and u can just open a enquiry which will bring up evreycard with a certian car on it!
I know there is a way to find out how many of a certain type are registered but I am not sure how it is done.
In the USA, (and for some other countries as well), the R.L. Polk & Company, can supply the registration information on any make and model of car registered nationwide or for each individual state. http://usa.polk.com/
hiya try contacting some of the motor clubs & why not try the aa or the rac maybe they will have some info that may be of a help to u
