Air France Concorde maybe to fly again?

Did anyone else see the news report that Air France is keeping one of its Concordes in a near flight readiness condition and there is a hope that this plane may take to the skies again sometime in the future?

Answers:
yes I did. There's info on that on the BBC website and airliners.net. Hope BA can keep one to fly during the 2012 Olympics.
never, they are an unfit carrier at the best of times, and would not take on the extra cost involved..give it to richard branson
Yes did see report. And I hope to see it fly again What a superb machine.
dont mean to answer a question with a question but werent the air certificates revoked. meaning that they are unfit to fly.
There would be to expensive to start use them again. But I guess theyre maybe wants to use it on airshow or simular. Johan
Would love to see it fly again, wish BA kept one for camorative flights. The Airworthiness certificate was withdrawn after the crash, but after certain procedures had been taken the airworthiness certificate was returned so the aircraft are fit to fly, but the fuel costs and lack of passengers mean its not fesable to fly.
Very unlikely to happen. It was down to Air France that the commercial services were ended, BA were more than happy to keep going; I seem to remember that Virgin offered to buy the Air France fleet, but were turned down.
it would be great to see them fly again.
if their is not airworthyness cert then screwed! however it could still be flown in the experimental catigory. restrictions on experimental no passengers.. if their is no passengers who is going to pay for it??
It will never used for commercial use. Maybe they just want to keep one in flyable condition to be used in promotional use and air shows. But where is it going go since it is banned from landing at so may Airports Worldwide.
Saw it in the paper. It would seem there is a British group wanting to do the same, but thwarted by B.A. draining all the fluids out . Seems to me to be a petty and spiteful thing to do. Good luck to the Frenchies, hope they do get one back in the air. It's not impossible, a group ARE going to do just that with the mighty Vulcan Yipeee!!
Dont hold your breath! The only reason they kept it is for show. Pass it on to Branson or Rutan and then you'll see it fly again.
