Basically the route goes from Leicester to Loughborough to Derby, Mancheser, Bolton, Preston and then on to Blackpool.
Distance 133.5 miles
If you change your mind about the motorway that route is much easier.
Just up the M1 to Junction 24 then the A50/A500 to the M6 then north up the M6 until you reach the M55. Follow the M55 into Blackpool.
