Dose anyone know of any really cheap car insurance brokers?
Answers:
try www.moneysupermarket.com they're like confused but better.
also i've found that the places that say they r cheap really aren't, i found the aa cheapest 4 me www.theaa.com
try tesco.com, we been with them for 4 years and always find them the cheapest
go to
www.confused.com
they check loads of insurance companies.
Was with Tesco but then tried www.theaa.com and my premium halved from £600 to £330.
Tesco for sure, the only company to even quote me on my car!
Plus it was surpsringly cheap!
direct line. £220 fully comp on a 1.8 turbo diesel
As above try confused.com..they saved me approx £300 when i needed to add a 2nd driver to my insurance.
One thing to remember; you get what you pay for. I suggest finding a reputable company. These "low cost" brokers can wind up costing you more in the long run. I always go with the philosophy: don't jump over a dime to get to a nickle. Look at it this way. If you were going to sky dive from whom would you want to buy a parachute from? Amazing Pete's Parachutes, we only sale used chutes to save you money. or Chuck's Chutes, we only sell new chutes that are approved by the FAA and guarenteed.
Think about that.
Cheap is not always good. I would suggest talking to a local independent agent to see what he could do for you. An 800 number isn't much help when you really need to talk to someone.
Brokers are usually more, go directly to the insurance company. Try Allstate insurance, that have many plans just to fit and if your driving record is good, you won't pay much. 1-800-allstate(phone), they will give you a free quote or how ever many you need.
I would highly recomend 'Carol Nash' who insure my car even though they started in the car business thier quote was £200 cheaper than the rest.
You have to phone them but well worth it!
