The only way to know if cheap car insurance is any good, is to read the policy carefully. A lot of cheap insurance can be expensive in other ways such as higher excess charges and more restrictions on mileage.
yeah its ok but i found price/car-supermarket prices a lot cheaper.
think about it -they aint ever going to pay you out fully anyway !

I've also found eCar to be cheap, and I'm a 19yr old. I've yet to take out any policy with them (or indeed any other firm), but the best you can really do is to try not to have a crash in teh first place, because in many people's experiences (or what I've heard), insurers are a bunch of tight-fisted, money grabbing sods anyway.

Car insurance is a cut throat market where by shopping around either online or via the phone they will always attempt to beat your best quote.
Always compare the excess against the next best quote you have had. You might be saving a few pounds but the excess could be double so, in the event of an accident, you would be forking out a lot more money.
If you're unsure about the company you could always phone someone else well known to see if they will match their quote.
