Does anyone read the small print on car insurance and see about windscreen excess etc or just get the cheapest

Answers:
Yep,

I ask all the facts..no good having a cheap insurance if the voluntary excess is so high that you could not afford to pay it to get the car back on the road.
Some do, some don't. It depends on our personality type. Some accept whatever the agent says, others just want cheap. Then there are those who knows what they want, ask questions, read the policy and adjust it to meet their needs.
Insurance is something you have because it is the law, as far as vehicles are concerned anyway. You should always read every detail on your policy. You must ensure you have the correct policy for what you need.It is useless buying the cheapest, only to find that there are `hidden` clauses which exclude items you thought were inclusive. You could end up way out of pocket. Another thing, don`t lie to your insurance company, if they find out , they can make your policy/claim void so you will get nothing if have an accident etc. Always read everything before you sign on the dotted line.!!
i never bother with the small print
