Depends on the model of your car and its emissions.

If its a newish car, look in the log book and see what the emission figure is. Then go on the DVLA website and see what levevl of tax you are charged. e.g. my Mondeo 2.0lit. is £135; my Reliant 1.6lit. which is "dirtier" is £165.
