Hello, this is quite bizar, anyway, i was wondering if you could tell me why the new (2003 onwards) Renault Scenic MPV has a euroncap crash rating sticker on the back and why some of them dont, i see exact same mdels but some of them had a 5 star rating sticker and some did ? All the new models got 5/5 star crash rating by EuroNcap but why has some got stickers and some haven't ? thanks.
Answers:
Maybe they only put them on the showroom models, to show people they are five-star or maybe some people take them off as they don't like them, like those bar code stickers you normally get on the back of books.
thats a good question to ask the dealer that is showing off the car!!
That is because when they were coming out of the manufacture lot they add a hyrdromechanicstic gear and just a few people got them so they dont want all of them to be the same. go figure.
I don't know the answer apart from contacting Renault Head Office itself. They will have a department that will know. Or. You use the word "sticker" - so assume other owners may have taken them off?
