What is it with people stopping to look at accidents on the motorway?
Answers:
Because people have a morbid curiosity to see something horrifying.
curiosity, it is human nature.
it's the human condition. plus it's good- reminds us all why we should drive carefully.
it's so frustrating they don't realise that they are causing a back log of traffic and the fact that today is monday the 27th which apparently means that more car accidents occur on this day according to the AA they should really be more careful.
Well it is kinda like watching the indy 500 you don't watch to see the cars go round and round you watch in hopes of a good wreck .. people are drawn to disaters.. you want to see "what is the hold up?" "if anyone was seriously hurt" "what kinda damage was done" "who was the idiot" .. etc . some do it in hopes of seeing blood and gore everyone likes a good horror movie lol
i'm afraid it is just human nature .
It's people being nosey. You need a car with anti-lock brakes.
morbid curiousity
They are a pain in the *rse.
Nothing better to do.. and you should pay more attention to your driving. If you had to skid, YOU were either driving too fast or too close to the vehicle in front of you.
This is the perfect example of the idiots we as truck drivers have to put up with on a daily basis. I gotta tell you its enough to drive anyone berzerk. I guess they gotta get a closer look and drop 35 miles under everyone elses speed like pronto.
all rubber neckers should be shot.
Keep a safe distance next time
