Does anyone know if there is any good engineering work experience at London Heathrow, thanks?

Answers:
no
London Heathrow is a very reliable airport in London, of course good engineering work and experience should be found there..Some major air crafts repair are done at Luton..It depends on what your needs are..or your company needs are.you can contact ServiceAir co in London ..I don't actually have their phone number but they can update you with any information you might need. They are the company that supplyes all services on air crafts grounded for any reasons Hope I was useful
In answer to a previous answer, Serviceair don't provide engineering maintenance for all grounded aircraft. British Airways, BMi etc at LHR all have thier own engineering departments, i would suggest you check their websites for engineering work experience.
Your very unlikely to get any work experience at Heathrow your best bet is to try the smaller airfields near London like, Biggin Hill for light aircraft, Farnborough for Corporate Jets, Blackbushe, Northolt etc. Ive tried a few and found Farnborough best to get to and take me for 3 months.
