Easy jet flights what photo ID can my mum use use ?
What ID can she use an the EasyJet website is rubbish in telling me what alternatives I can use?
Answers:
I booked my gran and papa a flight with easy jet from glasgow to stanstead and they were allowed to use their bus passes, you know they ones the pensioners get, but dont suppose ur mum old enof to hav one of em yet
I dont think there are any others than driving licence and passport. Sorry.
As the other answerer said that's it.
She'd better get herself a passport pronto.
A FBI identity card or United Nations identity card will be acceptable, is she a member of either?
has she got no photo id at all?
EasyJet's website states (if you look hard enough - its VERY well hidden):
"If you are unsure what constitutes a valid ID we recommend you contact our customer service department on 0871 244 2366 (calls cost 10p per minute; calls from mobiles and other networks may cost more) for further information."
Sounds like a good way of making extra money from you.
I'm sure it used to be much more descriptive the last time I looked.
If you are from the UK the only form of ID they accept is a passport even on domestic flights
if you are from Europe then a national identity card is ok
anywhere else in the world and its a passport
dont try and get on without a passport if you are from the UK they do not allow travel without it - no exception
all other airlines are the same - you have to have your passport if you are from UK or ID card from Eu
another good reason why we should all have ID cards..!
