i had an accident on tuesday morning, they told me the car will be collected the same day by the garage, that will do the repairs but it was collected the next day late afternoon. The garage is telling me that they have done the estimation since thursday noon but they never heard back from the insurance engineer. The insurance company is telling me that they never got the estimate. I went down to the garage myself and picked up a copy of the estimate for my reference, so i know that they have done it. today is friday, late afternoon, i spoke to the garage again and they said that probably the insurance engineer is probably taking time to authorise it cause its an old Reg, and that they will probably get the authorisation tuesday or wednesday!?
