personnally i think its about £100 for a standard depending the actual type of plate (ie what it says, numbers ammount of letters ect.)
if your looking to buy always always check the DVLA's website first. Often companies will advertise plates for sale that are actually held by the DVLA, so when you say your interested in a plate they will buy it rom the DVLA then sell it to you for a profit to them. I bought my plate from the DVLA for £249 ALL IN. same number from a reputable plate dealer about £699. When selling a number you put charges in with the price, usually it's £80 per move. Don't forget when transfering a number plate the doner vehicle and the receiving vehicle must be MOT'd at time of transfer.
you need to firstly contact dvla swansea for free pack this contains full details to imform you all the answers dont be tempted to try dealing without licence and set up facts i mean this well as many do try and get caught out by rules and regs all the best takecare jon
