How much aviation fuel is used on a daily basis word wide?

Answers:
That is like trying to measure how many angels are on the head of a pin. There are thouasnds of planes worldwide. Big and small. There is no real way to answer your question. The number of variables are too high.
tons
too much, and its set to increase phenomenally year on year. Something needs to be done I think, either conversion to biofuels or the re-emergence of neglected forms of travel such as shipping, I'm sure many would love to travel trans-atlantic in semi-luxurious (or economy) ocean-liners. if only they could create the technology to make ships a bit faster!
The amount used a second would scare me
the population of Americans airborne and any given time exceeds most of the smaller country populations, it's in the millions.

Far less than the cars of the world use.

An A380 gets better gas mileage per two people than a Smart Car, and goes a lot faster.
You must be mad to ask such a question. One can never calculate the answer. It is a massive figure, even if you know the amnt of planes flyin each day you would'nt be able to get the answer cos the pilots can fill their tanks how they want to.
