What year were paper driving licences banished uk?
Answers:
Where did they banish them too? Do you mean abolished? They are not completely out of circulation yet, but they do not issue them anymore. Every new one or replacement is the new style.
They haven't.
Ive still got mine. If i change my details in anyway then i have to get the new picture license but they havent been banished. x
I did not know they had I've still got mine somewhere
They havent been banished, I still have one.
Not yet, they are still legal but no longer issued
I still have mine. I have never changed it to the new credit card style licence with the picture. Im moving soon so Il do it then, Il also get it free as its a change of address not a replacement.
Paper licences haven't been banished and are still perfectly legal. They are, however, no longer issued by the DVLA and have been replaced by photo cards with paper document backup.
I still have one.
paper licences have'nt been banished, you just need a photo one to supplement them
Still have mine, I produced it to hire a car in Spain and caused a fit of laughter in the office. Wish I had learnt spanish now,I would love to know what they were saying.
They haven't been, even with the new photocard licence you still need a paper counterfoil so any points can be put on it. Plus some people will not accept a photocard as ID without the paper section of the licence.
I still have mine as well it tells you more than the plastic one on what you can drive.
