Car accident?

I had an accident but the other party escaped as he was driving a stolen car.Now MIB(Motor Insurer's bureau) deals with my claim. Are they any faster with dealing with cases than the usual insurance groups or not?

Answers:
Definitely slower..
Nope and here's the bad news! it will go against you in the future as an OWN fault accident!
Much slower, you have to wait months. You also have to pay the first £300 of the claim as a sort of excess. It will not go against you as the person above has said. He is wrong, because your not claiming through your own policy.
no 5 times longer ..sorry
no
Slower, a lot slower I had to wait 5 months for the case to start then 2 months after that for completion
You need to deal with an your insurance co. You may have uninsured motorist coverage on your own policy that would cover your damges to your vehicle. It would depend on your state the laws of that state for any other details on your accident. I would contact your own insurance claims office and go from there. The answer is not how fast they have an answer for you but rather if their answer is correct. You can also contact the dept of insurance in your state for more information.
i hope they are for ure sake
