Pay Per Mile Car Insurance - have you tried it?

I've heard from a friend about a pay per mile car insurance - as I only use my car on a Saturday it sounds ideal.

Anyone have any links or recommendations?

Answers:
No I haven't tried it yet but i will be looking into it when my insurance is due for renewal, only one I know about at the moment is Norwich Union
ive never heard of that. i think youre friend is joking with you.
Try Norwich Union
Yep I have tried it with Norwich Union. I was on a pilot scheme for 2 years but declined their offer to continue as their tracking systems were inaccurate. The onus is on you to make sure that what they are charging you for (ie the time of day you use your vehicle and the roads you travel on) is accurate. To do that they then want to charge you extra for itemised billing so you can check. I guess it is OK for very low mileage users and young drivers.
