220 e class engine turns but wont start?

i have put fuel in battery was flat but charged from jump leads it is deisel

Answers:
Glow plugs working? did you give them a chance to heat up?
try starting fluid, that should do it :)
check alarm
the fuel filter may need priming
why did you put fuel in battery
