Suzuki GSK1300R Hayabusa
What is a consumerable bike,
I would have thought consumerability was a minor point when deciding on which type of Motorbike to buy.
If you have a decent limit on your plastic and want a Commuter bike try a Triumph Rocket 3.
For excitement and fast acceleration try a Triumph Rocket 3, for touring then a Triumph Rocket 3 with an aftermarket fairing and for riding like a nutter on twisty roads get a Ducati, I dont want you crashing a Triumph Rocket 3.and pushing the insurance costs up before I can get one.
If you're looking for this year's models, for 2007 the fastest street bike you can buy is a Kawasaki Ninja ZX14 although the speed is hundreds of seconds vs the Suzuki Hayabusa.
If you're going by any year street bikes, the Suzuki Hayabusa 1999-2000 models are the fastest.
All the new Japanese bikes since about 2000 have been made under a gentlemans agreement to limit top speed to 186mph (300kph).
The Suzuki Hayabusa was the fastest before it got restricted in line with this agreement. Not sure what the fastest recorded speed was tho.
The most powerful production bike WAS the ZX12 and now its the ZX14.
If you know how to unrestrict it then you'll probably have you're very own bullet train.
If you are referring to standard production bikes, then it is still the Marine Turbine Technologies Y2K.
Top speed is in the region of 230mph-250mph. Retail price is around £125,000, though.
Could be a couple. ZZR 1400, Haybusa 1300 maybe. Thats off the production line anyway.
as ya man says a marine turbine technology's jet bike at 150,000 US dollars, but at the mo out of the crate it is the zzr 1400, if you want more then contact big cc racing in wokingham berkshire and they will turbo, nitrous or both. how much money do you want to spend ?
