Yes mate, ex merchant seaman I am, served on the Queen Mary, in the engine room, Blue Star line's Rhodesia Star,out of the Royal Albert dock London & also out of Liverpool, twice to Australia, & the MV Corinaldo from Donaldson & Black out of Glasgow, all back in the 60's
I knew someone who was. A stoker. He said he'd been three times round the world, so they told him.

My dad, he's been all over the world. I actually worked at the seamen's mission in east london so very farmiliar with ex-seafarers and active ones. Oh yeah remember the beardy bloke from Only fools and horses ?
