Air Ambulance?

How many people would be prepared to pay a bit extra on your car insurance if it enabled the country to obtain a large fleet of Air Ambulace's, i know i would.

Answers:
What a great idea! I would not mind paying an extra little bit.

Yes
I can't drive anymore so therefor I have no car insurance. It's okay with me but I bet all those who pay way too much already are screaming HELL NO!!!
£5 ?

Sounds a reasonable proposal to me
yep would be a great idea. touble is a lot of these lads burning round in there little nova's, who end up sticking it upside down in a hedge, who then get picked up by the air ambulance, dont pay insurance anyway.
Well.moving from Ohio to Michigan I already took a huge hit with insurance. And too, we already have many 'air ambulances' in my area with plenty of large hospital systems (between Ann Arbor, Detroit and Toledo).
no let the goverment pay for it
why not just tax all the horse riders, and the cyclists.
they all use the roads and don't pay single penny for the privilege.
extra revenue=more air ambulances.
i would
how about a suggestion..
rather than impose the cost on motorists (espescailly those who actually do pay their car insurance) how about funding it out of general taxation or voluntary donations if the central government deems it too expensive, lottery perhaps?

if you must sting the motorist take it out of the tax levieid on fuel (theres virtually no way of excaping that littel earner for the government)
I would, lets start on a "LOW" level, and install Re-enforced **** pits in cars, a 4 point roll bar in every car would add a lot more protection to the pass angers, as well as strengthening the whole vehicle body. What would it cost on a production scale ? an extra few hundred dollars ? Is your life worth an extra few hundred dollars ?
I would as it's a benefit to everyone!
Air ambulances can save lives, and would welcome support from a small car insurance supplement. I suppose all this came up because of Richard Hammond's crash. As he recovers, he can perhaps take comfort that his dramatic crash has raised this question. See you soon on Top Gear! It's a great show and should continue. Good wishes to the rest of the team. They must be feeling shell shocked at the moment.
no
Where I live, they are already in use, daily. California, USA.
