Re chipping A C5 2.2 HDI for towing a caravan?

I am considering re chipping my C5 but weighing the BHP advantage against the increased insurance & re.chipping cost .Has any one tried it?

Answers:
Your car should be around the 136bhp mark (same as the Pug 406 coupe engine), having a chip or re-map will put it at about 170 - 175 bhp, with a lot more torque. Diesels are better for chipping, you see more of an improvement. Trust me. Insurance won't know as it's within the ECU.
Its the extra torque you should be looking at. For a diesel will be good for this. It all depends if you tell your insurance company that, i mean if it was a second hand car, how were you to know that was there
I considered it for my diesel Toyota, but bottled out. The thought of a malfunction and loss of warranty put me off.
