Can I get a Viking 26 narrowbeam cruiser down the Oxford Canal, including under Yarnton Bridge?

Trying to get a 1988 Viking 26 narrowbeam from Braunston to the Thames. Yarnton Bridge is 6'6"; the boat's spec says it's 6'8" high, but I don't know if that includes the canopy and windscreen. Anyone know if it's do-able or not?

Answers:
You should be able to get under the bridge. The canal can be very shallow in places and I reckon you only draw about 2 feet so you should be ok.
Yep, fill up with water first to get the boat down !

You see a few Viking 26's on the south and north oxford. I doubt if they've all been bought for the canal system so they must have come off the thames.

Enjoy the trip, check the stoppages !
Yes, but be prepared to add water ballast if necessary.
You could try and get a tape measure out to make sure.
