Step by step how to set timing up for metro gti?
Answers:
remove timing belt covers top and bottom. Remove spark plugs find timing marks on cam pulley and crank pulley gently rotate engine until pulley marks line up with fixed marks on engine. check that rotor arm lines up with number 1 plug lead. Once this is done if you place a long screw driver into number 1 plug hole it wont go in very far, put it in number 2 it will go way in.
Need to know what you are trying to achieve really to be more accurate. Good luck or buy a Haynes manual from halfords.

go to shop
get Haynes manual
open it up at timing
