Yes. Brothers got a 2001 F34 (Twin Penta's) and we used it twice a week for the first summer then hardly at the start of the next year. Bray (Boat lye's at Windsor) contacted us about servicing and when we checked the log it was way over due !! You really struggle to monitor Hours used so for the price definitely have one fitted for each engine on a boat.
I have 05 Four Winns and it was an option that I did not choose.
