Can I use a portable DVD player on an airplane?

I'm flying Liverpool to Marseille via easyjet.

Answers:
yes. just not at take off or landing.
Yes that is definitely not a problem.
If they allow you to carry it on, yes, you can.
yes, just not take-off and landing.
No, all electronic items are banned. Even electronic keys for the car are banned.
yes of course
Yes you can, once you get the okay from the flight staff (not durring take off and landing). Have fun!
Once you're up high - 10,000 feet i think
Yes, you just have to wait until they say it is "okay to use approved portable electronic devices."

Thank you, goodbye now, thank you, goodbye.
well i believe you can but to make sure i would always call the airport you are going on and ask first k have fun
You can use it when you are not ascending or descending..but only if you can get it through the enhanced anti-terrorism security in place at airports. I would phone the airline for advice, if I were you.
A new DVD player is set to launch on the Canadian market, and it has my two favourite words next to it: portable, and DivX. DivX is a commonly used compression codec for encoding video.
A kid in the next seat to me used his on a 4 hour flight ,it was so loud i couldnt hear the film i was watching and listening to on headphones. it was so ignorant and rude.
I don't think so.

They ask you to turn off all electronic equipment, so. well.
