Why do Motorists have one finger up their nose especially when at traffic lights?

It's called 'nose mining'. Drivers habit, although I have seen two fingers and a thumb up a nostril once whilst looking in my rear view mirror at the chap behind.
He had a vacant look, must have found a bit of brain?.

People seem to think they're invisible in their car.
I just stare and laugh, the reaction is hilarious

You could always lean out your window and offer them a Kleenex. That would be a great reaction to watch.
i like to pick my nose and throw the bogies into the bogie pit which is the passengers footwell..after a while a great collection builds up. I also have to adjust my pants as after a long drive they often try to stangle my nads, so I lift my bum of the seat whilst driving grip the edge of my pants and pull them down, letting them go, hoping that they return around the nads not on them. I also like to scratch my ****, and stick my finger up my bum, all very difficult when you have to control your feet on the pedals..

They think that nobody can and they are sorely mistaken! They could be bore and boredom leads the dirt and idol thoughts and actions!
cos if they did it whilst driving they would crash
To get the boogers out,its even more dangerous to drive with them stuck up your nose and it saves on the mobile phone bill.
Seriously, it's better that they do it at a stop light, than when they are driving.
