My Mondeo pulls to the left when I accelerates and pulls to the right when I take my foot off accelerator, why?

It also makes a knocking noise if I pull away sharply, and when I turn sharp right

Answers:
It's the lower front suspension wishbones, their notorious for it. To check kneel down at the side of the car so that the wheel is in front of you, put one hand at 9 and the other at 3 (for this bit imagine that the wheel is the dial of a clock) and try turning the wheel as if it was a steering wheel. If the wheel moves forward and back while the rest of the car stays totally still that means it is definately the wishbone on that side, repeat the process on the other side. The wishbones cost approx £32 each and take about 1/2 hour to fit if I was doing it myself (a garage would charge you for fitting on top).
Added:
The check that I've described will only take 30 seconds per side to do, if not less.
Possibly the front suspension lower arm bushes disintegrated allowing the suspension to move to a position that it should not go
your right brake caliper is bust and seized on
Knocking would possibly indicate you need a new anti roll bar.
the knoking noise may possibly be the draft shaft that will also be the reason for the car to pull left right when when driven
This sounds like a safety issue that you should have addressed immediately. There may be loose or broken suspension components in your front end. I had the same problem in a Ford Taurus that had a broken sway bar end links.
I would guess it's a gear box problem or one of your cv joints are knackered?
Call 911 right away. You car needs some mechanical attention.
Because Mondeo's are crap as are most fords
i own a repair shop, and it sounds like it may have a bad CV joint in it causing it to do this, and it may even have a caliper trying to stick on it,this is common with those but id have it checked out,and see what a good mechanic said about it,,he might be able to find one single cause for it good luck,i hope this help,s.
99.9% sure the drive shaft is k.o
100% sure it is the front lower suspension arms bushes, they are famous for these to go bad, the rubber bush deteriorates and separates from the metal lining hence alot of exess movement causing the car to pull in the different directions.
Your offside front lower wishbone rear rubber bush has deteriorated badly.
