Does anybody know how to reset the service indicator on the dashboard on my citroen xsara piccaso?

ive serviced it myself, but does it need to be sent to a garage to reset the counter?thank you

If the service light remains on, there may be something odd at work. I would probably wind up sending it to garage to make sure.
The last thing anyone needs is an expensive repair if some little dodgy thing leads to a big failure.
Once my brother changed an air filter on my mum's car. Service light came on, stayed on. He is a mechanice and knew he had blown a fuse. No big deal, but something else could be in your case. I say this because I know not your level of skill in doing these service things.
Hi,

try typing the car make into e-bay .

I bought instructions for how to reset my Audi service light on there for 99p

someone e-mailed the instructions and it worked a treat.
not sure about your particular car, but some cars have a reset button located in the fuse panel. your cars service manual should tell you if there is one and how to reset it. if it is the "service engine soon" light, just take off one of the battery cables for a couple minutes and the computer will reset itself.
some make and models or cars require to be taken to a garage and they have a machine that takes away the service indicator.
Hold the odometer trip reset button down and turn the ignition on.
Continue holding it down for 10 seconds or until it resets.
