Are you just as confused with the Hammond incident.?
Most tell us that life in general are mini accidents waiting to happen, and if it's summat you like, then get it done - in this case it seems he wanted to get it done not too bothered of would happen next - id est: the concern of his wife and bairns.
Despite his 'British Bulldog Bravery' (as things like this are usually called by the moronic tabloid press), he's done two things.terrified his family and has got the equally moronic 'admirers' come out on the net and praise his 'blokey-ness'.
Sorted?
I think not.
Answers:
evry job has risks and his famil obviously benefit from him being happy at work and earning good money. Good luck to him
what was your question?
i think you answered your question
pity it wasn't Clarkson
no not really its prety straight forward he crashed he went to hospital he walks pretty simple to me
well, hes up and about on his feet already, and now clarkson is making sure all is fine for top gear too. Laughing and joking in bed he will be ok.
Your a class A prat! The blokes badly injured. How about a bit of sympathy and a get well soon.
There's more to Hammond than Top Gear, he's a Charasmatic Radio and TV presenter (For another channel) as well.
Top Gear is a programme of world wide fame and favour which has a contraversial view of cars - but it is also entertainment. And you view on the average viewer is as unfair as it is uninformed. My feet may or may not smell, but my partners definately don't and she enjoys it just fine.
In all likelihood, the Hamster will be up and walking in the short to medium term. He has a head injury - not a back injury.
He may well have scared his family, which is unfortunate, but there is a groundswell of support for his wellbeing - deal with it.
Also; this is a Answers Site, not a Rant site - there really wasn't a question there at all. Could you not waste our time please!?
whats your Q or point. Nobody wanted it to happen and I hope he makes a good if not full recovery, he is a nice decent bloke.
Your a bit out of touch - loads of women watch Top Gear including myself. As for Hammond he's one of these people who like to live life dangerously - you could say the same about soldiers in Iraq etc - most of them have a wife and kids. They don't have to go so thats British Bulldog bravery too. At the end of the day the poor bloke is seriously injured and probably won't be the same again so I think we should all feel a bit a pity fo him and his wife and family.
No not really - agree with a previous answerer, he was doing what he loved doing, we don't criticise when someone jumps out of a plane or dangles by an elastic rope over a river, Why have a go at Richard Hammond. (sorry had to use his first name as to call him just by his last one is so disrespectful). He is a very likeable character who is much loved by loads of people, and even those of us who have no interest in cars at all find him funny and entertaining. I for one wish him well and pray he has a speedy recovery.
I'm not confused but realise such a question will rub people up the wrong way which goes to show no matter how dangerous and seemingly selfish people are, they will just see the one side of the story. He's made them happy so he should get well soon but they are not his family. Heard someone say last night his crash might be a lesson to all of us who own vehicles that move far slower.
Do you still live with your mum?
I bet you do.
I'm confused. Thanks for the points though.
So he took a bit of knock to the head, so what?
Surrounded by a very strong safety-cage, a safety-seat, a crash helmet and fire-prooof clothing, he was always going to be a lot safer crashing at 280mph than those old farts driving their little Nissans in the middle-lane of the motorway at 45mph.
It happens all the time in motor-sport..get used to it. I hope they show the crash on telly!
