My car has bascially been written off-does anyone know how I can enter it and myself into a stock car race?

It still works, but the body work is almost totalled, and I want to finish it off in style!

Sounds like you are looking for a Demolition Derby. Stock Car racing requires roll cages and specially set up vehicles.
Go to your local track and see what information that can provide you. Other wise check with the link provided.

a car needs a lot of modifications to be a stock car, just send it to the junkyard, or sell the motor and trans, wheels then send it there
Firstly you will have to make sure who owns the car now. If your, or a third party's insurance paid out to write it off, you will have to "buy it back" of them. I did this with a motorbike, but they didn't take anything for it. It's sometime cheaper than them scrapping it.
