Booster Seats: Anyone fined under new law yet?

The new law on child car seats came into force today, has anyone been issued with a fixed penalty for not having the correct seat yet?

Answers:
Once again the traffic police have nothing better to do.

hubbys a normal PC and they haven't even been briefed on the new law yet, I wouldn't worry about fines just yet. the police don't even have a clue - mushrooms, kept in the dark an fed ****.
what state? they are all different!
Not yet, but im sure it wont be long lol
Nope, I'm a good mama and got the right seat for my daughter.
i doubt there will be fines until the shortages get sorted out otherwise there are far too many excuses that parents can use. Give it a week or so then the fines will begin, my guess is they will wait near schools to catch parents unloading.
The Police have been insructed to advise offenders to get car seats rather than arrest them.

For now.

.
No. Just the price of the booster seat is a fine itself.
if you have the booster seats in then you wont be finned
