Car insurance!?

I have recentlly passed my driving test and am over 25, I am looking for a good car insurance quote, the cheaper the better, any suggestions of who i should try? Chaepest so far has been just over a grand, need to get one starting with at least a 9.

Answers:
I dont know who is the cheapes but I can tell you who wont help you when you have an accident and who is the worst out there.. because it is who I currently have.
It is liberty mutual.
I recently had an accident .. that was deemed not my fault. and the other persons insurance .. farm bureau of mississippi has been great paying for everything .. but my ins who is supposed to be on my side was in the begining telling me that I should bondo my brand new mustangs hood crack instead of putting on a new hood.. the other ins paid for a new hood and paint job. the bottom line was I was happier with the other ins company.. I have a special order 50K mustang and there weas no way I was putting bondo on it.. I wanted it put back the way it was before I got plowed into.. and my ins that I pay to represent me should have done that .. instead someone else had insurance that paid to have it done because they hit me.
DONT GET LIBERTY MUTUAL.. even thou they are LGBT friendly.
confused.com ??
Go with Admiral they like young drivers
Try elephant.com
go to confused. com they will get you quotes from loads of different companies online
confussed.co.
Try some comparisons at Money Supermarket:

I have recently got a really good quote from the AA due to having signed up for their breakdown cover also.
I recently jst searched the net for the cheapest car insurance quote and found that www.tescofinance.com were the cheapest and you can even include breakdown cover for a resonable amount if you want
Insureandgo.com/esure/direct line/ try them all or just put car insurance for 25 year old into a search engine There is no charge for a quote
swiftcover.com
Unfortunately due to companies using different scoring criteria what is good for one person is bad for another.
Also consider do you want 'legal' insurance to get you on the road or do you want good cover? They are very different and you pay for what you get.
As for using Confused or money market don't bother go on line with any of these companies get a quote then go direct to that company and i guaranty it will be different.

Take the time and contact as many as possible. If you rate your self at £100 at hour I am sure you can get your money back by spending some time on this
hey mate i got mine free well mum got the insurance like for $650 and now everyone is insured in her car how mint is that its liek u can drive my car and u be insured on it
try the insurance search on www.autotrader.co.uk or www.moneysupermarket.co.uk.

ive got quite a big engine in my car and was getting quotes of £1000 ive got cover with www.quinn-direct.co.uk for just under £500 a massive saving!
You need to do your work - I'd recommend ringing all the companies in the Yellow Pages with an 0800 (free) number. I get a different lowest quote every time I do it, I'm always changing insurers. My boyfriend does very well at Swintons, they seem to have a very wide selection of insurers to choose from (probably becuase they've been established so long).

It really does depend on every bit of your circumstances as to which will give the lowest quote - your age, sex, location, car, parking space, yearly mileage. good luck!
price isn't everything. i own a bodyshop and after 20 years of dealing with just about every insurance company, i have found that there are several "bad" insurance companies. most of the "bad" companies are the cheap ones. don't be fooled by the low rates. if you never have an accident and never need the coverage, cheap is great. but if you do have an accident, good luck with the cheap insurance.
Shop around, get a car that's in insurance group 1 and take pass plus. I know a young lad whos just passed his test and is getting quotes of around £2000 for a 1.2 Corsa. High insurance is a given for blokes when they pass their driving test. Just be thankfull you aren't 17.

Inccidentally my wife passed her test when she was 29 and the insurance for her car, a 1.8 Ford Focus, was around £500!!
Go to:

http://www.confused.com or http://www.moneysupermarket.com.

Whatever the cheapest is there go to that site and do a new quote as you may find it cheaper because on confused and moneysupermarket it may be higher (commission). Example if Tesco is the lowest the open up a new Browser window and type in http://www.tesco.com and a new quote
the quote you have got is probably quite competitive going by what mine cost but try insuresupermarket.com thats where i got mine from they have loads and loads of companies on there and where cheapest for me by about 500 pounds!!
if possible, call insurance companies yourself, don't use a broker, you will end up paying broker fees that is not refundable if you decide later to cancel policy, it might take up more time, but you will save considerably if you omit the middle man. Cheap doesn't always mean good, so shop around.
I have seen many offers online for cheap car insurance. It seems that Progressive may be a good place to start to compare rate quotes since they give you their best quote and the rates from their top competitors.

Other good auto insurance providers are 21st Century, State Farm, Allstate and GEICO.

I believe they all have web sites that could offer you online quotes.

One source that offers up to five free auto insurance quotes from top-rated auto insurance companies is InsureMe - http://www.insureme.com/landing.aspx?ref.

I hope that helps. Take care.
i got a great deal with tescos
The best way to compare insurance quotes is online. Try http://www.2insure4less.com/ . Just fill out one east form and get 5 different quotes from many different companies. Insurance companies will compete for your business and you will save.
The cheapest company isn't always the best. A cheap company that won't be fair and pay for claims is not worth the low price.

The cheapest companies are those that give you the most and best discounts for having certain safety equipment, driving short distances, etc. See the following article for some advice:

Admiral are very good. I have 2 policies with them (seperate it was safer). I have a Noble M12 GTO for just over £1,000 with full no claims, and a Ford Scorpio 2.3 insured fully comp for just £391. The Scorpio has no no claims.
i am a new driver to , i was getting silly quotes for £1600 for a 1.8 citreon c5 51 reg . i managed to get it for £852 fully comp! try Kwick Fit ,,, OR Quote car ,, OR AUTO DIRECT , or Elephant . All the rest were glue sniffing with the price`s these were pretty much the same .... good luck .
Challenge Churchill!
i would try one of these either privilage or the one im with which is zurich i drive a galaxy and its cheap on either one so good luck or try confused.com and i bet zurich will be on the list
