Only half of my heated windscreen works, can it be easily fixed?

Find where the line (it's the silvery lines running across your windscreen) is cut (it will be near the spot where it gets misty), get some conductive paint and bridge the cut by painting over it. You may need to carefully scratch the insulating paint that it may have over it.
Have it "stolen" for the insurance money and buy a different car.
it wont be covered by any warranty,and cant be fixed,however, your insurance company would replace it if it happened to smash?

accidentally have the windscreen broken and then pay the excess on your insurance to have the windscreen replaced at auto glass who will replace like for like, or just check that the wire on the side of windscreen hasnt worked itself off under the surround plastic ;)
