Hi, are you in U.S. or U.K.? If in the U.K then basically they have to be in a car seat until they are 12 or 135cm tall. They are fine to be in the front seat from any age, just as long as they are not in a rear facing car seat if you have airbags, because any impact would harm them. Basically just use your discretion.
