I'm a professional driver - How can I bring all the no-hopers on our UK roads up to my high standards?
Answers:
make it look like you are driving an unmarked police car and wear a high viz jacket. either that or glue a blue balloon to your roof and shout "woo woo nee nar nee nar ! " out the window
Get real that just ain't gonna happen.
You're right to many no-hopers on the road
get a clue you sanctamonious tosser
Thats like trying to get the old grannies off the pavenment with their electic wheelchairs and whatnot, it just isn't going to happen. best thing to do is avoid routes that people who aren't as good as you and hope that you don't meet any of them!
Self praise is no recommendation.
By giving courses throughout the country
You sound quite arrogant and boastful in your question. I think
we should be humble in our approach to help solve certain
issues relating to any community in any country.
i am an advanced motorist my self passed 7 years ago in fact
i now live in Spain
so my answer is don't bother just treat them with the respect they deserve
Professional driver.so you either drive a taxi or deliver pizzas.
must be a taxi driver ,never had an accident but caused loads.
the driving test should be harder, mandatory retests brought in every 5 years, any driver found not using due care and attention while driving have their licence revoked for a minimum of a 6 month period, jail sentences for anyone found driving without a licence, heavier fines for people driving offences that don't warrant the revoking of their licence
You maybe a professional driver but you don't ask questions like one(to arrogant).
ive been driving 29 years, who ses your better than me, its dimbo's on the road like you who say "i'm a professional" that i'm worried about, not to mention the pscychic drivers, you know the ones, indicate by telepathy.
I'm a GOD, and I like to leave them to struggle on their own, that way I look EVEN BETTER!! I suggest you do the same!!
It's not something you can do just by yourself. You have to start a campaign to raise awareness and gain support. Campaign to change the law so people have to be older before they can take the driving test. Campaign for heavier penalty for reckless driving. Organize visits to schools to "brainwash" the younger generation. Encourage more people to see the need for change in attitude. There's a lot you could do but it is something that everybody should do together.
Make people relise how precious life is.
And how hurtling in lumps of metal towards each other and making stupid decisions while throwing our lumps of metal around is putting lifes in danger.
Metal slices through meat realy easily, and thats all we are to these tons of deadly lumps of metal, a cars not a cocoon or a status symbol but demands the respect of people driving it and it often doesnt get that respect and reacts nastily to this.
Bad driving kills
Speeding kills !!
I suppose by good example. To be a professional driver does not necessarily make you a good driver, does it? Look at Richard Hammond...I say no more...I rest my case !!
I under-stand you.
It's only due to new (now old) rules on motor bike driving tests. All car drivers should undertake a CBT, which makes you look.
If you can pass this onto the goverment, you have my backing.
I wish you could mate
You can't, but you can ensure that you don't go down to their standards.
That said, very few drivers are as good as they think they are.
Well, its an unrealistic and highly impossible goal, though admirable. I suppose the best thing to do is to personally educate the really "bad" drivers. After all, one is only as good as the person who teaches them first. After the bad drivers have a good foundation of how they should drive, then their capacity to drive better has increased. However, teaching all the bad drivers out there will take forever, but perhaps you can start some sort of program with other good drivers, in which you will teach them how to drive as well as you do, then in return, they have to teach others how to drive as well. In effect, it will be a chain reaction. One thing I would suggest is that if you were to do this, I would not recommend you charge them for your time, because people tend to like free stuff, and the big question is, how much value can you place on someone's life who could be potentially be saved from a bad driver?
