I took out insurance on my car 3 days ago. Ive tried to pay the road tax via the vehicle licence website, but the website is saying there is no record of my vehicle being insured on the motor insurance database. Can anyone tell me how long I need to wait before the motor insurance database will register my insurance thus allowing me to pay my tax?

have you had the documents through from the insurance company?
If so, could be easier going to the post office
try paying for it over the phone and have your insurance details to hand when you make the call they should be able to check with the insurance company, hope it helps
