the only ft prefix i can find are the 80 and 95 series both have 11.6 litre daf engines fuel injection equipment will be bosh so i would say that most of the electricail parts wil be bosh also. the gearbox is most probebly zf there is one large breaker in the uk that i know of that is walsh and dearden darwen lancashire hope this helps

due to cheap flights alot of the countries that bought complete trucks or spares now come across themselves and can outbit us due to the fact they buy direct from the same places as us.
85's werent that popular anyway it was/is the 95 .
Without been rude if you dont already have the knowledge of what engines and transmissions are fitted to these vehicles how can you sell the spares?
Volvo are the sought after motor now and to a certain extent scanias.There is a good market for late tri axle trailers on air but they dont take the york diamond chassis and they are very piccy beleive me.
I think it would be beneficial to your company if you actually knew what you were talking about when it came to parts. Don't take this the wrong way, but if your not sure what components Leyland DAF trucks use how can you possibly provide a service that supplies them?
