Has any1 been on a cruise going on 1st 1 next year with family aged 4 to 18 need help choosing which company?

Answers:
No matter which company you choose.. do watch out for the onboard charges that can really pile up. Plus the add tips automatically for most services.
Example: You buy one beer for $3.00 they will add a $1.50 tip to that cost.
Food Packages are included on most but use common sense when picking a plan.
Ocean Village Cruises are best for young familes, they are dubbed cruises for people who dont cruise, mainly in the med. Think you buy them through first choice holidays. A more dearer option is a disney cruise, they are always popular with children, and normally go near carribbean.
Depends on how much you want to pay and where you want to go but PRINCESS CRUISES ARE THE BEST.I have done 3 with them and always superb.
I think Disney started up some cruises for kids - age 2 - 100.
Island Escape or Island Star are excellent value not formal very friendly good english entertainment food very good served in a choice of restaurants children kept well entertained all tips are included in price which can amount to a good saving compared with some other cruise companies who add the tips to your on board account. suggest you look on teletext ch 3 pg 227 and 228 for bargains dont book to early as the price always comes down good luck and enjoy yourselves
