Because small adults are less likely to run amok in the back of a car, so a seat that is child proof is a good idea.

i can't really see how having a car seat or booster can be useful in a car crush or accident. Seat belt all the time - that's for sure. For children under 5 - yes, for goodness seek: just to keep them at one spot please. Everything else - just an unnecessary expense

car seats are a stupid idea, re-educate drivers every 5 years would be safer.The goverment will make money from fines outside schools
it is silly i work at a school and the children that have had to go back to a car seat/booster get picked on its not fair ton the children it should be the parents that choose
