Why is the Practical Driving Test in England so fricken hard?! why they gotta be so picky!?
Answers:
Because they like to keep Dummies like you off the road.
Cause the Theory Test is soooooo easy lol..
buy the disc m8 before you take it and learn it that way but for me it was easy once i bought the disc.
Haha it's true.
Well try harder!
driving on the wrong side of the road and also the steering wheel is opposite of what i know so i'd fail to
You just need to become a better driver mate. I passed second time. After I made a mess of the first test there was no way I was going to fail again. I concentrated on improving my skills in the areas where I was weakest. Easy. Second test? No problems. I would not say I was the greatest driver in the world, but everytime I take my car out it is an opportunity to practise and get better.
hey i know what you mean! its my third test next week and i'm absolutely terrified!!!!!!
I passed on my 6th test, I was only failing on tiny things. My sister somehow passed on her first time and she even reversed and completely crushed a orange cone.
i think its best that u guys have a hrd driving test. over here in miamia they pass anyone!! thats why there are accidents on every corner of the street almost. yesterday i drove no more than 10 miles and saw 3 accidents and one car flipped over.. so be glad people over there can drive.!
No its not its easy.
I passed first time, so did my wife and my brother passed first time last week.
Maybe its because you arnt good enough yet.
well in Germany we do a written test as well and we have to attend 12 double hours for it and it wasn't easy and it is law since i was a girl, England only now started to teach people the legal way to drive. The reason they are so picky is because you need to be a good and safe driver and learn to think ahead and unless your teacher doesn't think you are safe you will not pass, he also has to follow the guidelines.
You just have to keep trying and remember it's just a test.
Its hard to keep numpties off the road although unfortunately some do slip through the net.
Just be glad that you are not taking it in Switzerland. If you fail it three times you have to see a physiologist to make sure you are all there!
hahaha
I know but once you pass you don't have to be so perfect
I don't want to sound rude, but it's probably to keep crappy drivers away from us sensible ones.
The test isn't hard really, it's the examiner. Depends what type of person they are and what mood they're in. I passed 6th time (i did all test in less than a year and a half) and I can tell you I didn't even drive that great, I had done better before. One examiner failed me because I DIDN'T drive in a bus lane out of hours, so it really does depend on them and their mood, you just gotta get a good one.
Try a different test centre, one where some others you know have passed and try to chat with the examiner a little bit while driving. Even better, go to Wales, it's all country roads (60mph or so) no roundabouts, traffic lights and hardly any junctions so you can't go wrong!
Good Luck and try not to tell anyone when your tests are booked, the pressure doesn't help ;)
Its not hard, far from it. It should be made more difficult and relevent.
You are just a useless learner with attitude.
GOOD , If you cant pass the easy bit , then i`m glad i wont be passing you on the road anytime soon .
That's all we need, another angry young man on the road.
You are not good enough yet. It is not just about passing a test, it is about staying alive, uninjured, and not killing anyone else. At 30mph, your car is carrying 200 times the kinetic energy of a 9mm bullet fired from a handgun, so you need to be 200 times more careful than you would be with a drawn, loaded and cocked handgun, in a crowded place.
Calm down. There's no rush, on the test, or in life.
In Spain first you do the theory before you even get in a car you just need to take it easy & try harder.
. . . maybe you should stick with your trike (until they do cars with stabilizers) . . .
I understand your frustration. It's very upsetting to be failed, I know I've failed three times.
I don't think people should be so judgemental in answering your question. If they passed first time, it doesn't actually make them any better a driver than you, in fact they are probably far too cocky and arrogant on the road and will end up having an accident because they take driving for granted. It's not a right, it's a priveledge.
Because I kept failing my test, when I know I can drive competently, I decided to try riding a motorbike which is much more difficult. I felt that this would train me to have greater awareness and give me the opportunity to practise my roadsense which is not something that you can do so easily in a car because of course you have to have a fully licensed driver with you. And if you can't practise outside of lessons there is not way you will ever pass. and of course riding a motobike is a lot more fun than driving a car!
So you've got some options, either pass your CBT and get a motorbike and have lessons and practise to improve your roadsense or you can get insured on a friend or relative's car and get them to take you out to practise.
Don't book another test until you have done several mock tests with your instructor perfectly.
to keep bad drivers off the roads but we need to make it harder and take the test every 10 years so i earn more money ha ha
