why you ask?
On my ship shore leave expires one hour before sailin or one hour before your watch, this is Australian merchant navy rules. In the Royal Australian Navy (military) shore leave expired half an hour before you were due to start work, or whenever the captain said shore leave expired. On a sailing day, shore leave expired 4 hours before sailing. I hope that helps
