Answers:
YES.TAKE IT TO A GARAGE
yes.
use spanners
Yeah..take it to an auto shop and have them do it. Why the heck would I want to do any work on a car??
Not fun at all!
And if someone actually tells you on here, are you going to believe them enough to risk your life following what could be malicious advice?
quite a hard and dangerous job because of the pressure, if you do it, dont release the new shocks before fitting them or you'll never get them in.
Surely you mean Alfa Romeo?
As with any car, it's a fairly straightforward procedure as long as all the bolts come out nicely. If your car is more than a few years old, they will be rusty. To save heartache and a lot of trouble, take it to an Alfa enthusiast's workshop. They will charge you less for parts and labour than an Alfa dealer who has a shiny showroom and bored, unhelpful sales staff to pay for.

Try joining an Alfa owners club. Google "Alfa *** owners", where the *** is the model of your car. They will gladly pitch in and help you if you are willing to get your hands dirty.
