How do i hitch a trailer to a towbar?
Answers:
place the trailer cup over the tow ball and wind up the 3rd wheel and then using the grip bar at the side, loosen the wheel stalk and lift up as high as you can and then tighten the bar. remember to lift the hand brake looking device to ensure a clean contact between cup and ball.
why are U moving? LOLOL
if you don't know. YOU should not be towing a trailer it's not hard
I give you a clue the hitch goes on the towbar
Write to bbc top gear on www.bbb.co.uk/topgear and they will tell you.
if its a standard 50mm ball coupling then its simple, reverse to the hitch, if its a small trailer then it will be easy to move it over the hitch, drop the hitch over the tow ball and if the trailer has one turn the handle on the jack wheel at the front to lower the hitch down, when close pull up the locking mechanism on the hitch and continue lowering the jack, once the hitch is over the ball completly let go and lower it till you hear a click, make sure you place the emergency brake line to the hitch which needs to be done first, this pulls the brakes if equipped should the hitch fail and the trailer break away. then make sure the the jack wheel is in the most upright position tucked into the chassis to stop the wheel from spinning round and making contact with the road, finnally plug in the lights and check them, then release the hand brake if euipped, remember any trailer over 750kg by law needs to have a braking syem
hope this helps
