I run a two year old Citroen Xsara Picasso 2 litre automatic. I've had it from new and have done 36k miles.

yesterday I had a puncture caused by a screw embedded in the passanger side rear tyre. Today I get a blow out in the drivers side front. Yesterday's puncture fixed by Kwik Fit who also checked the pressure in all the other tyres. Can anyone tell me what causesd a tyre to blow?

Answers:
it can happen to any tire, it could be a fault in the manafacture, it may have been clipped stightly without you noticing, it could be under inflation, to be honest you will have a difficult time pinning this on kwik fit
dunno but ive been trying for years to get my wife to blow !!
Ahdunnio

Kwik fit are very fishy

my sister went for a new exhaust, they said she needed loads of extra work doin, and did it.

she refused to pay for the extra stuff bcoz she had not authorised it

usually a tire will blow out if you are down to the cords, have you still got the old tyre to examine it properly?
Scrap it!
Your car probably saw a German car on the road and decided to surrender.
Under inflation. At speed, the tire heats up and it fails.
